The tunnel is nearly 8 kilometers long, designed for six lanes in both directions, speed of 60 kilometers per hour, through a number of mountain fault zones, causing a lot of difficulties to the construction. Inside the tunnel, there are mainly Class II and III peripheral rocks with a hardness of about 110 MPa. The site is excavated in two layers, which makes the construction difficult, and the working surface is flooded with water, and the temperature inside the tunnel exceeds 40 degrees Celsius.

During the critical period of construction, faced with many unfavorable factors such as complicated conditions at the construction site, tight schedule, difficult construction and complex surrounding environment, our company actively coordinated with all parties to solve the technical problems and set up an exclusive spare parts storehouse at the project site to ensure the timely supply of spare parts; operators and after-sales service engineers endured high temperatures and worked for an average of 6-8 hours to ensure that the equipment was in the best condition to help the construction of the project.

At present, the equipment has been in construction for more than 4 months, the depth of rock drilling is 4-4.7m, the operating time of a single hole is about 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the over and under excavation is controlled within 20cm, and the effect of light explosion is good.
